The bid is for network electronics projects. Bidders must submit an Intent to Bid form by February 10, 2026, and all bid responses by March 05, 2026, including an electronic copy via the bidder portal. A 5% bid bond is required if the total base bid price is $31,**** or more. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project is expected to be completed by May 01, 2026. The selected vendor must provide a written guarantee/warranty for three years. The district is exempt from federal excise and state sales taxes. The selected vendor must comply with the state of Michigan policy regarding nondiscrimination of employment. The selected vendor must furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond if the total labor charges for the project equal or exceed $2,**** for payments will be made 100% upon completion of the sow and acceptance by the district. Payments will be paid net 30 days after acceptance of as-built diagrams and cable certification testing results. The selected vendor must furnish the district written warranty documentation. The selected vendor shall correct any work that fails to conform to the requirements of the awarded contract where such failures or any defects is due to faulty materials, equipment or workmanship which appear within a period of three 3 years from the date of completion of the contract. The selected vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless the district and its agents and employees from and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses including attorneys fee arising out of or resulting from the performance of the project. The selected vendor shall comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and orders of any public authority having jurisdiction for the safety of persons or property or to protect them from damage, injury or loss. The selected vendor must provide an installation floater for the value of the contract to protect the district. The awarded contract will be governed by the laws of the state of michigan. The selected vendor shall not assign the contract or sublet it or portions thereof without the written consent of the authorized district representative.
The project is expected to be completed by May 01, 2026.
Payments will be paid et 30 days after acceptance of as-built diagrams and cable certification testing results.
The selected vendor must furnish the district a written guarantee of the services and/or products provided to the district for, at least, hree 3 years after the final payment covering all workmanship and materials specified in the contract.
Considerations for awarding contracts will include price, product quality, service, delivery, and maintenance of products and/or services, adherence to specifications, past performance to the district, vendorcontractor reliability, warranties and familiarity with the projects and the facilities of the district. Price being the primary factor, consideration, other than price alone, shall be used in determining the most successful bid technical experience, local service and support, and experience in educational environments are used to perform the districts bid evaluations.
The board of education will retain the right and has complete discretion to qualify or disqualify any bidders on the basis of available information concerning the bidders ability to perform as needed and the suitability of the products and/or services included in the bid as described in sections 3. 4. 0 and 3. 5. 0.

The bidder shall supply, upon request, samples andor brochures of the proposed materials and equipment with the bid.
All bidders must complete and submit all major addendum questions by February 10, 2026.
