The work will be substantially completed within thirty 30 calendar days after the date when the contract times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within fortyfive 45 calendar days after the date when the contract times commence to run.
Owner shall make progress payments on account of the contract price on the basis of contractors applications for payment as recommended by engineer, on or about the last day of each month during construction. Prior to substantial completion, progress payments will be made in an amount equal to 90 of work completed with the balance being retainage.
The contractor shall, for a period of 2 years from the date of payment of final estimate, keep in good order and repair any defect in all work done under said contract either by the principal or his subcontractors, or his material suppliers, that may develop during the said period due to improper materials, defective equipment, workmanship, and/or any other work affected in making good such imperfections.
If the contract is to be awarded, it will be awarded to lowest bidder whose evaluation by owner indicates to owner that the award will be in the best interests of the project.
To demonstrate qualifications to perform the work, each bidder must be prepared to submit within five days after bid opening upon owners request detailed written evidence such as financial data, previous experience, present commitments and other such data as requested by the owner.

It is the responsibility of each bidder to visit the site to become familiar with and satisfy bidders as to the general, local and site conditions that may affect cost, progress, performance or furnishing of the work.
If, within twentyfour hours after bids are opened, any bidder files a duly signed, written notice with owner and promptly thereafter demonstrates to the reasonable satisfaction of owner that there was a material and substantial mistake in the preparation of its bid, that bidder may withdraw its bid and the bid security will be returned. Thereafter, that bidder will be disqualified from further bidding on the work to be provided under the contract documents.
