The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Construction and Equipment Supply Chain is awarding a bridge contract to SupplyCore, Inc. for a period of 279 days to provide maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials and supplies for the Northwest region. This is the sixth bridge contract for the region. The contract is necessary to support customer requirements until a follow-on initiative is competitively awarded. The justification for other than full and open competition is based on the fact that only one responsible source (SupplyCore) can satisfy agency requirements within the timeframe required. The anticipated cost to the government will be fair and reasonable based on price analysis, including comparison to available commercial pricing, GSA pricing, and other government contracts. No additional market research will be conducted, and no other firms will be solicited. The bridge contract covers the Northwest region.

Solicitation for a firm fixed price construction contract to repair shower rooms at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) Chicago. The contract is a 100% small business set-aside. Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www. ***. *. * and meet the small business size standard of 45 million. The bid opening date is Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1:00 pm CDT. Access to specifications and drawings requires an active SAM vendor registration. A pre-work meeting is required. All work must comply with local, state, and federal regulations. The solicitation is distributed solely through the SAM website. Any amendments will also be distributed through the website.

Two additional site visits are scheduled for June 30, 2025, and July 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM CDT. The contractor's fully loaded man-hour rate will be used for negotiating change orders. Direct production man-hours for skilled labor at the journeyman level are included in the price proposal for modifications.

The scope of work includes plumbing, heating, and waste disposal equipment maintenance, repair, and rebuilding at specific locations in Omaha and Grand Island.

All employees must have successfully completed a 10-hour OSHA-approved construction safety and health course. The estimated time for completion of the work is 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages for failure to complete work on time is $500 per day.
