Bidders shall have a minimum experience of performing at least two 2 contracts meeting the requirements in this specification. Bidders shall submit, upon request, references from two 2 previous contracts, listing name, address, contact person, and telephone number. Contractors shall have been in business for five 5 years performing similar work for commercial or institutional accounts of equal size. The technician performing work on this contract must have five 5 years minimum experience working on the type of project specified.
The contractor shall be responsible for repairing any damage to other surfaces or finishes caused by, or resulting from hisher operation, the work of this contract, or the activity of hisher personnel. The county reserves the right to reduce payment to the contractor for any repairs or damage the contractor fails to remedy within fourteen 14 days of written notice by the county.
A prebid meeting will take place on June 4, at 10:00 a. m. , at the Otsego County Highway Department Main Garage, at 20 Linden Ave. , Cooperstown. Bidders attendance at this meeting is strongly recommended to understand the scope of this project.
Bidders are required to submit with their bid the certificate of registration for the public work contractor and subcontractor registry. Failure to submit the certificate of registration may render the bidder nonresponsive and the bid could be disqualified.
