Solicitation for reflective safety vests, other clothing items, and accessories. Bids are fixed price. Minimum discounts are set, but bidders are encouraged to exceed them. The initial contract period is one year, with potential for four additional one-year renewals. Product to be received within 21 days after order. Questions must be received by a specified date. Offers must be submitted in a sealed package or via email by July 7, 2026, 10:00 AM EST.
Product to be received consistently no more than 21 days after order submitted.
Payment for goods and services received by the district shall be processed in accordance with the Anderson School District Five Procurement Code. A purchase order will be issued and must be referenced on all invoices presented for payment. Invoices should be sent to Anderson School District Five at PO Box 439, Anderson, SC ****.
The vendor shall supply a guarantee for all workmanship for the equipment heshe is furnishing for a period comparable to the standards in the industry. When defects or faulty materials are discovered during the guarantee period, the vendor shall, immediately, upon notification by the district, process at hisher own expense, to repair or replace the same.
Award may not be based solely on price. Final award will be made to the offeror who is found to be responsive and responsible and provides the best solution to meet the needs of the district.
Responses shall be considered only from proposers who are regularly established in the business called for and who in the judgment of the district are financially responsible and able to show evidence of their reliability, ability, experience, equipment supervised by them to render prompt and satisfactory service in the volume called for under this contract.
Should the contractor fail to complete the contract within the established time limit, or at the later date as authorized in writing by the director of procurement, heshe shall pay liquidated damages in the sum of one hundred dollars (****) per day minimum and/or in accordance with the district procurement code.
Responders may be requested to submit samples of all manufactured articles required. Requested samples must be provided at the vendors expense.
Any vendor desiring to exercise rights under section XIV. If a recipient does not submit a response or fails to respond by submitting a no proposal for three (3) consecutive proposals for the same commodity, they may be removed from the applicable vendor list.
