This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to KTF Fire Trainer LLC for the renovation, component replacement, and system upgrade of existing live fire training systems at Goodfellow AFB, TX. The work includes fabricating, providing, and installing mockups, equipment, piping, wiring, valves, and sensors for various burn trainers. The performance period is 270 calendar days, broken into five sequential phases. Contractors must comply with safety regulations, including OSHA and Air Force standards. A site visit is highly encouraged. The government is seeking statements of capabilities from interested parties who can provide similar products and services, including manufacturer authorization and a price list, by July 9, 2026.

The prospective fire training system supplier shall provide the following information: corporate qualifications and capabilities fully describe its ability to provide the required system equipment, software, and system support to the government by submitting a company profile.

If a contractor requesting access has been convicted of a felony within the past 10 years or is considered not fit for access, entry will be denied. If it is determined a contractor requesting access has been convicted of a felony or pled guilty to a felony charge within the past 10 years, or is considered not fit to obtain authorized access based on the information obtained during the identity vetting, or criminal history indicates the individual may present a threat to the good order, discipline and morale of the installation, security forces personnel will deny entry.
