The selection will be made after a thorough review by a panel consisting of city staff, utilizing criteria and weighting for evaluation purposes: firm experience and qualifications (25%), project understanding and technical approach (30%), experience with similar projects/clients as well as PARTF projects (30%), familiarity with the site and past performance with the city (10%), and statement of qualifications (SOQ) quality and responsiveness (5%).
Firms must be qualified in the State of North Carolina and their qualification statements should clearly and concisely address: firm name and location, brief overview and history, project manager and key personnel qualifications and experience, statement of availability and proposed schedule, relevant experience in parks, facilities, and greenway design, experience with accessible facilities (ADA), experience with publicly funded projects in North Carolina, historical data on comparable projects, documentation of litigation history, provision of an hourly rate sheet, and proof of licensure in North Carolina.
