Bids are invited for snow plowing and removal services for three CTE locations in Erie 1 BOCES. The contract term is from October 15, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with an option to renew. All garage, building, bus loop, and parking lots must be cleared and salted by 5 a. m. daily after 1 inch of snowfall or drifting. The award will be based on total price, service requirements, contractor qualifications, and past performance. Failure to perform may result in costs being deducted from invoices. A mandatory precontract meeting is required for the low bidder.

The bid will be awarded based on total price, meeting service requirements, contractor qualifications, and past performance. bid will be awarded based on but not limited to the following: a. total price including year 2 pricing, for all three site locations b. the meeting of all service requirements and specifications c. qualifications of contractor e. g. relevant experience, size of crew and equipment, customer references, etc. d. past performance of the contractor relative to serving erie 1 boces.
Bidders must provide three customer references, a listing of intended equipment, and crew skill/experience details. a. a minimum of three 3 customer references within the past three 3 years for snow removal contracts consisting of multiple acres maintained.
If the contractor fails to perform, all incurred costs by Erie 1 BOCES will be deducted from the monthly invoice. all costs incurred by erie 1 boces because of the contractors failure to perform, including labor, equipment, materials, administrative expenses, and contractor fees, shall be deducted from the contractors monthly invoice.
