Luzerne County Community College is soliciting bids for furniture replacement at its main campus. Bids must be received by noon on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the college's purchasing department. The bid includes a detailed list of furniture items, quantities, and specifications. Luzerne County Community College is seeking proposals for the third-party administration of medical insurance. Proposals are due by noon on May 27, 2025. The initial contract term is for three years, with an option to renew for two additional years. The successful bidder must meet specific criteria, including company history, cost proposal, insurance coverage (workers compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability), and references. All contractors must obtain three mandatory background clearances (PA criminal background, PA child abuse history, and FBI Cogent clearance) to work on campus. Proposals for a Ford F250 truck are due by noon on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Proposals must be sealed, labeled, and addressed to the Luzerne County Community College Purchasing Director. Proposals should include company history, personnel information, cost proposal, insurance certificates, and references. The college is not obligated to accept the lowest proposal and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Companies must be duly licensed and meet all governing local authorities' requirements. Disclosure of any immediate family member relationships with college employees or board members is required. Copies of the purchasing and conflict of interest policies are available upon request. Documents valued at $5,000 or more will be posted to the PA Treasury website. The college is required to post the Title IX and Nondiscrimination policies on their website.

Bids must be received in the college's purchasing department building 5, room 513 by noon on Monday, April 28, 2025. Bids must be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, by shipping company that tracks delivery, or delivered personally. Bids must be sealed and submitted on the enclosed invitation to bid. A certified check, cashier's check, bank check, money order, or bid bond payable to LCCC, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price must accompany each bid. No tax should be included in the bid price. Quality of goods and specifications must be acceptable to LCCC. Equivalent items will be considered unless no substitutions are listed on the invitation to bid. Bid prices shall include all shipping and handling fees. Delivery, assembly, and installation must apply to all items. Items must be shipped prepaid, FOB, Luzerne County Community College, 204 Opportunity Way, Nanticoke, PA **** shall be completed no later than as listed in the specifications, and if not listed in the specifications, then no later than 30 days after the purchase order date. LCCC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or select a single item. LCCC reserves the right to waive defects in the bidding process. LCCC will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder. Responsible bidder is defined as in the reasonable discretion of the college based upon considerations to include promptness, faithfulness and the capacity and ability to do the work according to plans and specifications.
