The city of Long Beach issues payment based upon services rendered. After a contract is finalized and work is performed, the awarded consultant should invoice the city. The city will remit payment within 30 calendar days of being billed.
Proposals shall be evaluated based upon organizational capacity, method of approach, communications, and reasonableness of cost.
Proposers must have a minimum of three years of working on similar projects or have three governmental or private references for similar projects. There is also a requirement to be qualified to conduct business in the city and no record of debarment by any federal, state or local government agency.
The city may interview or request demos/site visits from none, one, some or all proposers.
A proposer desiring to submit a protest must do so within five 5 business days of the electronic notification of intent to award.
