The bid notice states that quantities listed will be ordered between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027. Orders will be placed on an as-needed basis due to storage limitations.
The school board reserves the right to select a higher priced item where, in the judgement of the school board, such item is of superior quality or design or would be more suitable for the purpose intended.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or money order in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bids will not be considered unless the correct bid security is attached.
If merchandise does not meet the requirements, same will be rejected with supplier being charged for cost of laboratory analysis. The school board will purchase materials to replace those rejected at the market price and the difference will be charged against the bidder or his bondsman.

Samples are required on items only if bidding an item stock that is not specified on the bid form. All samples shall be delivered to the Slidell Support Facility, 100 Stone Road, Slidell, Louisiana **** no later than the scheduled time for opening bids.
