Upgrade of fire alarm system campus-wide at Doris Miller Medical Center, Waco, Texas. Project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price. Bids are due June 16, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for May 26, 2026. RFIs are due by June 2, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. The contractor must provide a superintendent at all times. The contractor is responsible for all shipping, receiving, storage, and security of materials and equipment. The project shall comply with the latest uniform building code, NFPA standards, and other relevant codes. A safety plan is required prior to commencing work. Bids must be submitted electronically via email.
The performance period is 720 days after issuance of the notice to proceed.
Payment will be made monthly, in arrears, following satisfactory performance and upon receipt of a properly prepared invoice submitted through the Tungsten system.
Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid conforms to this solicitation and is deemed the most advantageous to the government, considering only price and price-related factors.
Offerors must be registered in SAM. gov and veterans. cert. sba. gov. They must also submit a bid guarantee and evidence of SDVOSB status. The contractor must have an experience modification rate (EMR) of equal to or less than 1. 0 and no more than three serious, or one repeat, or one willful OSHA or EPA violations in the past 3 years.

Failure to submit all required documents, including bid bond, evidence of SDVOSB status, and completed responsibility sections, will result in a nonresponsive offer.
