Wayne County is seeking proposals for the removal and replacement of curtainwall systems and windows at the Health Administration Building. Mandatory pre-proposal meetings and site visits are scheduled for July 16 and July 20, 2026. Proposals are due August 11, 2026. Proposals will be evaluated based on experience qualifications (25 points), work plan and timeline (20 points), project approach (20 points), proposed fees (30 points), and utilization of first-tier subcontractors located in Wayne County (5 points).
Proposers must have a State of Michigan-endorsed contractors license and at least three years of experience installing curtainwall systems and replacing windows for commercial buildings.
Repeated failure to correct deficiencies will result in cancellation of any contract awarded.
Attendance at one of the mandatory pre-proposal meetings/site visits is required to submit a valid proposal.
Disqualification may occur due to evidence of collusion, lack of competency, lack of responsibility, uncompleted work on other contracts, or being in arrears on existing contracts with the county.
