The bid notice states that substantial completion for the Fire Station 38 portion of the project shall be achieved within four hundred and twenty-six (426) calendar days after the owner's notice to proceed, and final completion shall be achieved within forty-five (45) calendar days after substantial completion. For the Administrative Headquarters portion, substantial completion shall be achieved within three hundred and four (304) calendar days after the owner's notice to proceed, and final completion shall be achieved within forty-five (45) calendar days after substantial completion.

The bid notice states that samples of the product to be delivered may be taken by a representative of the city, either prior to delivery or while it is being delivered, or from storage facilities. The bidder agrees to furnish the necessary manual labor, without additional cost, required to assemble the physical samples. Any product not meeting the requirements of the contract after sampling and analysis shall be sufficient cause for cancellation of the contract.
