The Little Rock Convention Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is soliciting bids for fire alarm testing and monitoring services. Bids must be sealed and submitted by October 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT. An optional walkthrough is scheduled for October 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM CT. Prices are to be held firm for 90 days and should not include taxes or shipping. The contract term is for one year with six additional one-year renewals. The bid number must be indicated on the envelope. The successful bidder must provide all necessary labor, tools, and equipment. Discounts will be taken when LRCVB qualifies for such. Guarantees and warranties should be submitted with the bid. The purchasing office reserves the right to award items, all or none, or by line items. The bid quotes will remain firm for 90 calendar days from the bid opening date. Sales or use tax is not to be included in the bid price, but is to be added by the vendor to the invoice billing to LRCVB. The bid number should be stated on the face of the sealed bid envelope. This contract action is a fixed-price acquisition for inspection and laboratory services related to alarm, signal, and security detection systems. Due to the proprietary nature of the security and fire alarm monitoring system, only Universal Security Fire Inc. is eligible to provide the required services. This sole-source acquisition is justified under FAR **** and FAR ****(b) for proprietary reasons.
