Bidders must submit their bids electronically by August 22, 2025, at 9:45 AM, to the City of Kenner. All bids must be written in ink or typewritten and signed by an authorized representative. The City of Kenner reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsive bidder. Bidders must be licensed in Louisiana (LA R. S. 37: ****) and display their license number on the bid envelope. Bid security is required for bids of $250,000 or more. If someone other than the corporate officer signs for the bidder, a corporate resolution or other signature authorization is required. vehicle accessories for the Kenner
Police Department. The contract will not exceed $40,**** will be made upon completion and acceptance of the project. Invoices must be submitted within 40 days of services/materials billed for. Insurance requirements, including workers compensation, general liability, auto liability, and contractors pollution, are specified. Performance and payment bonds are required if the bid exceeds $25,**** must complete required affidavits (employment verification, noncollusion, past criminal convictions). Bidders must obtain any permits required by the City of Kenner. The bidder is responsible for filing the executed contract documents with the recorder of mortgages in Jefferson Parish and paying associated fees. The job site must be kept clean and free of debris. The contractor agrees to abide by the requirements of Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of ****, as amended, and other federal and state laws. The contractor will make a full and complete disclosure of any and all subcontractors and suppliers they intend to utilize. The contractor shall not enter into any subcontract for work or services contemplated under this agreement without obtaining prior written approval from the City of Kenner. The contractor agrees to the terms and provisions provided for in appendix A applicable to all federally funded and reimbursable agreements. The contractor agrees that it does not have a practice, policy, guidance, or directive that discriminates against a firearm entity or firearm trade association based solely on the entity's or association's status as a firearm entity or firearm trade association. The contractor agrees that it will not discriminate against a firearm entity or firearm trade association during the term of the contract based solely on the entity's or association's status as a firearm entity or firearm trade association. The agreement is subject to and contingent upon the continued availability and appropriation of funds. The contractor is responsible for any and all related expenses relative to authorized
police personnel dropping off and picking up marked
police vehicles outside of the maximum 20-mile radius from the Kenner
Police complex. The contractor must be an authorized dealer for the products, the product must be shipped to the bidder, the product must be installed at the bidder's place of business, the bidder must be able to install a minimum of two units per day, the bidder must have a fenced, alarmed, and protected storage area for any
vehicles left on the premises overnight, and the bidder must warranty labor for a minimum of one year. Time is of the essence, so the Kenner
Police Department's authorized personnel will drop off and pick up marked
police vehicles within the maximum of 20-mile radius from the Kenner
Police complex located at 500 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Kenner, LA **** to the bidder's place of business.
