The Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) is seeking bids for pork, ends pieces. Bids must be submitted via email by January 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM PST. The goods are to be delivered to the ODOC's Central Distribution Center in Salem, Oregon. The contract start date is to be determined. Bidders must provide per-unit pricing, and prices should include transportation, fuel surcharge, and delivery charges. The bid includes preferences for Oregon goods and services and resident bidders. Samples may be requested after bid closing. The estimated delivery quantity is one FTL (40,000 pounds) to be delivered within 45 days or as scheduled by warehouse staff, no later than June 30, 2025.

Payment for completion of state contracts is normally made within 30 days following the date the entire order is delivered and accepted or the date the invoice is received, whichever is later.
The contractor warrants that all goods, including all equipment provided under this contract shall be new, unused, current production models, where applicable, and shall be free from defects in materials, design and manufacture for the duration of this contract.
The bid notice states, odoc may award one or more contracts based on the lowest responsive bids by responsible bidder per line item , groups of items, or all or none, whichever is in the best interest of odoc.
The bid notice states, odoc prefers oregon goods and services, and for evaluation purposes, odoc shall apply a five percent 5 preference for oregon goods fabricated or processed entirely in oregon or services performed entirely in oregon.
The bid notice states, if contractor fails to contact the spc indicated in section 2. 2 regarding an additional extension, or fails to deliver the items by the new delivery date, odoc, at its discretion may cancel the amount remaining to be delivered, and odoc may purchase the required good elsewhere and bill contractor the difference in award price and the price paid to obtain the required good.
