Albany County is seeking bids for pool maintenance, inspection, and repair services for two locations. Bids are due by 11:00 AM on July 30, 2026. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 9, 2026. Bidders must have at least five years of experience and relevant certifications. Pricing must remain firm for the three-year contract term, with options for two one-year renewals. All chemicals, materials, and replacement parts must be supplied by the contractor at a price not exceeding 10% above wholesale cost. Emergency services require a 24-hour response. Bidders must submit a non-collusive bidding certificate and a vendor responsibility questionnaire.

Bids may be rejected if the bidder has failed to comply with prequalification regulations, has outstanding bills for labor and materials on former contracts, is in default under previous contracts, or has performed unsatisfactory work on previous contracts. The county reserves the right to reject any bid if the information submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the county that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein.
