This is a request for quotation (RFQ) for the repair of liquid and gas flow, liquid level, and mechanical motion measuring instruments. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's written acceptance. The government requires a repair turnaround time (RTAT) of 71 days. Government source inspection (GSI) is required. Freight is FOB origin. The contractor must accurately report all transactions within 5 business days of receipt. The Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole-source contract to Life Technologies Corporation for preventative maintenance of two flow cytometer machines (cytkick autosampler and attune nxt 4 laser). The contract period is for a base year (06/17/2025 to 06/16/2026) plus four option years. The estimated total value for the base year is $18,667. 53. The justification for sole-source is based on Life Technologies being the manufacturer and the only company capable of providing the necessary maintenance services. The contracting officer will determine the anticipated cost to the government to be fair and reasonable.
