The Washoe County School District is seeking architectural firms for the Sparks High School modernization project. The project is divided into two phases: programming, feasibility, and concept design (Phase 1) and full architecture/engineering design services with a construction manager at risk (Phase 2). Proposals must be submitted by December 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for November 20, 2025. Questions are due by December 2, 2025. The proposal must include specific forms and documents, including financial stability documentation in a separate sealed envelope. The evaluation process includes proposal review and formal presentations/interviews. The contract will be governed by Nevada law.
The proposal documents must be received and time stamped by the WCSD purchasing department no later than 2:00 PM local time on the due date time identified on page 1 of this RFQS document.
Payments on resultant contracts under this rfqs will only be made after workservice is rendered andor products procured and within thirty 30 days of receiving an accurate invoice for rendered workservice andor products without defects.
The proposer warrants that any workservice rendered under any resulting contract of this rfqs shall be performed with the degree of skill, care, and judgment customarily accepted as sound quality practices and procedures.
An evaluation committee will review the proposals and determine the best proposal in accordance with the scoring of the evaluation criteria.
Proposers must be licensed andor incorporated to do business in the state of nevada.
In case of default by awarded proposer, the wcsd may procure the workservice andor products from other sources and may deduct from any unpaid balance due proposer andor collect against the submitted surety, bond, or security for the amount of excess costs so paid.
A mandatory preproposal meeting is scheduled for November 20, 2025 at Sparks High School.
Any unsuccessful proposer appellant may appeal the results in the solicitations letter of intent recommendation of award if they believe applicable provisions of the law were violated.
