This is a firm-fixed-price contract for professional services to provide a Special Education Teacher for Santa Rosa Day School (SRDS) in Sells, Arizona. The contract is short-term to address staffing shortages and ensure compliance with IDEA. The selected vendor will be responsible for recruiting and retaining qualified personnel, ensuring compliance with IDEA timelines, implementing onboarding and training, maintaining service continuity, and meeting performance-based metrics. The objective is to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of special education and related services. Key responsibilities include direct instruction, IEP development, progress monitoring, collaboration with families and staff, and documentation. The Special Education Teacher must have a Master's degree in Special Education, a valid Arizona certification and license, and a minimum of three years of experience. A mandatory Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) federal background check is required before services can commence, which can take 4-6 weeks. The contractor will be provided with a BIE-issued laptop and access to necessary systems. Housing will be provided by BIE, with an estimated monthly rent of $500 and utilities of $100.
