The bid is for a service contract for elevator maintenance, including preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. The contract term is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The successful bidder must have the manpower and equipment to provide normal preventative maintenance and emergency elevator repairs. A prebid walkthrough inspection can be arranged by contacting the WCSD facilities department. The district will not pay for travel time, mileage, toll fees, fuel surcharges or charges for minor equipment required during repairs or inspections.
The district reserves the right to cancel any back orders over 30 days.

The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidders on the specifications.
Successful bidder must have the manpower and following equipment to provide the district with normal preventive maintenance and emergency elevator repairs including: perform a quarterly maintenance examination of all elevators and ash hoists district wide. must be experienced in repair the following elevators Canton, Otis, Dover, haughton, smart rise, schindler, and esco, hydraulic and traction style passenger, freight elevators and ash hoists. Successful bidder must submit proof of confined space certification with bid.
If the contractor fails to clean up, the owner may do so and the cost there of shall be charged to the contractor.
