Bids are invited for the purchase and removal of government-owned forest products. A bid deposit of $1,000 is required for item 1. Inspection of salvage areas is invited. The harvesting and removal of timber must be completed by December 31, 2026. The successful bidder must submit a performance deposit of $1,000 within 10 days of notice of acceptance.
The purchaser agrees to remove all timber designated for harvest on or before 31 december 2026.
For contracts of $1,000 or less, the balance of the estimated purchase price is required. For all other contracts, $1,000 or 20 percent of the estimated purchase price, whichever is greater, is required.
The estimated volumes will be used for award purposes by multiplying estimated quantities by unit price bid.
The bidder certifies that he is or is not a small business concern within the terms of the following definition: in sales of government-owned forest products a small business is a concern that: i is primarily engaged in the logging or forest products industry 2 is independently owned and operated 3 is not dominant in its field of operation and 4 together with its affiliates does not employ more than 500 persons.
The government may determine the extent of damages arising from any of the causes set forth, and the purchaser agrees to pay a damage, therefore in an amount to be determined by the real estate contracting officer as liquidated damages for the injury and for the damages suffered by the government.

The estimated volumes are: item 1: 500 tons of pine sawtimber, 1, 000 tons of pine pulpwood, 1, 500 tons ofpine chipnsawpallet, 200 tons of hardwood sawtimber, 1, 800 tons of hardwoodpallet, and 1, 000 tons of hardwood pulpwood.
