Sealed bids are being accepted for aeration blowers, motors, variable frequency drives (VFD), and auxiliary equipment. Bid documents are available online and in person. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in a sealed envelope addressed to the Public Works and Utilities Department. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivery to the city's wastewater treatment plant, **** E Columbia Street, Port Angeles, WA, between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM during normal business hours. Payment will be made within 30 calendar days from invoice received. The equipment must comply with all state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and codes in effect at the time of delivery. Full manufacturer's warranties must be provided. The city may consider purchasing from a local supplier. Bidders must submit a bid sheet and a non-collusion declaration. The bid must be on the required form and include full descriptive literature. Any variance from the specifications must be clearly stated in writing. The equipment must be in accordance with the specifications. Failure to comply with any specification may result in disqualification. All items called for in the specifications must be complete and delivered before final payment.
