Invoices will be paid within 30 days of completion of the work, acceptance by the village, and receipt of the invoice, or within 45 days if the purchase order number is missing. The contractor warrants that all material and equipment furnished will be new and of the most suitable grade, and all work will be of good quality, free from faults and defects for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion, unless otherwise provided.

The work shall be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the responsive bid that is most advantageous to the village.

Bidders must have at least five years of experience as a continuously operating entity engaged in similar work and have completed at least five projects of similar size and nature within the past two years.

Failure on the part of the successful bidder to execute a contract within thirty calendar days of its receipt or to provide acceptable bonds shall be considered just cause to withdraw the award, and the bid security shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The village may deduct costs from payments due to the contractor for damages caused by the contractor.

A pre-bid meeting for all bidders will be held on May 12, 2026, starting at 10:30 a. m. at the Village Hall. Participation at the pre-bid meeting is required to submit a bid.
