The City of Woburn is seeking bids for water distribution materials inventory supply and management. The contract will be for three years. Bids are due August 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. Questions are due by August 3, 2026. The estimated annual spend is $200,000, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,000. All prices must be FOB destination. The contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total price. Vendors must have been in business for at least three years and be able to deliver products within 24 hours of ordering. Samples may be required for evaluation.
Responses must be delivered by August 13, 2026, at 12:00 noon EST to the City of Woburn Purchasing Department.
The City of Woburn shall make no payment for a supply or service rendered prior to execution of a written contract. Bills should be submitted before the first day of the month in which payment is to be made to ensure payment by the twentieth day of that month, except where the allowance for a discount differs.
The bidder guarantees all supplies for a period of one year, or as otherwise specified. The bidder guarantees that upon inspection, any defective or inferior supplies shall be replaced without additional cost to the city.
The contract will be awarded to one responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total price.
Contractors must have been in business for at least three years providing related equipment and supplies, have the ability to deliver product FOB to the Woburn Water Department within 24 hours of ordering, and their products must meet or exceed the specifications.
Any qualified bidder may be required to submit samples of the goods offered at the request of the Purchasing Agent. Evaluation for acceptability will be a determining factor in the selection process.
If any bidders or proposers contact anyone outside of the Purchasing Department regarding this bid/proposal, that bidder/proposer will be disqualified immediately.
The estimated spend is $200,000 per year.
