This is a pre-solicitation notice for an urgent requirement to repair the roof of building 143 at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System Lyons campus. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside, requiring eligible small business concerns to be registered in SAM. gov. The contractor must be an authorized installer for the roofing products. All workers and supervisors must have current 30-hour OSHA safety training. The contractor will provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision. The requirement calls for the replacement of shingles and repair of approximately **** sq ft of the flat roof. Contractor shall commence work immediately after receiving the notice to proceed (NTP). All submittals for material are required no later than ten (10) days from receiving the NTP with the completion of all required work including removal of all debris from the premises within 30 days. The solicitation will be released on or about July 14, 2025, with a site visit scheduled within the following week. Requests for information will be due five days after the site visit and offerors will be due ten days after the publication of the VA's responses. Proposal submissions will be only received electronically. No hardcopy and faxed proposals will be accepted.
