This RFP (****) from Harlandale Independent School District is for cafeteria visual upgrades, including graphic design/art work, tables, and seating for McCollum and Harlandale High Schools. Vendors should submit proposals based on best value. The district may award to multiple bidders. Preferred project completion is August 7, 2026, with a hard deadline of September 30, 2026. A site visit/walkthrough is optional but highly encouraged, with scheduled dates on May 13, 2026, and May 22, 2026. Questions are due by May 18, 2026. Required submission documents include a complete proposal, company background, description of ability to provide services, project schedule, references, proof of insurance, cost proposal, and mandatory forms. Addendum 1 has been issued and must be uploaded with the submission.
The district prefers project completion for both locations on or about August 7, 2026, but will consider all reasonable dates, no later than September 30, 2026. If the latter date is not achievable, the vendor shall propose their earliest project completion date.
Vendors are required to provide information regarding their warranty as part of the description of ability to provide services.
Vendors shall submit a response based on their best value recommendation. The district reserves the right to award the contract to multiple bidders based on what is considered in the best interest of the district.
Vendors must submit a statement of company background, qualifications, and experience, as well as a description of their ability to provide services, including firm resources, material, and personnel.
A walkthrough will begin at McCollum High School on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 9:00 am CT and will immediately continue to Harlandale High School. An additional site visit is available on May 22, 2026, at 9:00 am. The walkthrough is not mandatory however highly encouraged.
The question period ended May 18th 2026, 9:00 am CDT. Messages can no longer be sent, unless a project owner allows vendor responses.
Late arrivals will not be permitted to the site visits to avoid campus disruption.
