The project involves removing and replacing carpet and cove base, painting hallways, stairwells, and other elements in building **** at Kirtland AFB, NM. The contractor must comply with various safety, security, and regulatory requirements, including obtaining approval for materials, maintaining a clean worksite, and adhering to federal, AFOTEC, and Kirtland AFB regulations. The onsite performance period is 90 workdays. Changes to the statement of work must be requested in writing and approved prior to execution. All salvageable materials are the contractor's property unless otherwise noted.

The main lodge structure consists of two levels of concrete slab and steel frame construction and a roof structure of glued- laminated timber post and beam frames. The glue laminated timber post and beam frames have deteriorated at the exterior column and beam connection. This project addresses this by shoring and removing all exterior glue- laminated columns and replacing with steel lateral- force resisting system on the exterior of the building, exposed to view on each of the 8- faces, removal of the roof membrane and adding structural sheathing, removal of soffits to add blocking to bridge the new roof sheathing and new exterior steel frames, rear patio and stair removal and replacement, raised balcony and stair removal and replacement, kitchen area to rear patio service area removal and replacement, exterior cooler removal and reinstallation on new loading dock slab and new HVAC cooling tower piping replacement. Ther will be some exterior electrical and sprinkler work in addition to replacement of landscape at the rear patio. Building D consists of removal of wood columns on the back side facing the pool, replacement of all handrails and guardrails and removal and replacement of site bridge and stairs

Sealed bids are invited for a skidded mix tank and linear motion shaker. Bids are due August 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and will be opened on August 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Detailed specifications are available online. Bidders must submit two sets of documents, one original and one copy. Questions must be submitted by August 22, 2025. The successful vendor must send a representative with binding authority to the Brownsville Public Utilities Board upon request. All items must be new and in first-class condition. Payment will be via ACH direct deposit. A W9 or W8 form is required. The Brownsville Public Utilities Board is exempt from federal, state, and local taxes. Failure to sign the bid will disqualify it. Additional documents, such as debarment certificates, legal notices, ethics statements, conflict of interest questionnaires, W9 or W8 forms, direct deposit forms, residence certification forms, bid schedules, cost sheets, cashier checks or bid bonds, OSHA 300 logs, contractor prebid disclosures, subcontractor prebid disclosures, references, and previous customer reference worksheets, are required. The bid schedule includes vendor work on the bid from August 11, 2025 to August 27, 2025, bid submission on August 27, 2025, bid opening on August 28, 2025, bid evaluation from August 29, 2025 to September 19, 2025, final recommendations on September 22, 2025, and approval by the utilities board on October 13, 2025.
