This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a Ramps & Concrete Upgrade Project at the U. S. Embassy in Kuwait. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 16, 2026. Quotations are due by August 23, 2026. The award will be made to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price. Offerors are encouraged to register in SAM. gov. Questions are due by August 17, 2026.
The contractor shall complete all work required under this contract and make the ramps concrete upgrade project ready for use within forty-five (45) working days after receipt of notice to proceed (NTP).
Embassy payment terms are 30 days net credit. Payment is due within 30 days after the receipt of a proper invoice and all services were received and accepted by the government. The embassy does not make any advance payments.
The contractor shall provide a warranty for each item, covering workmanship, installation, and all related components, for a period of one (1) year. The warranty starts the day after final inspection approval.
The award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, and responsible offeror.
Offerors must be technically qualified and financially responsible, demonstrate prior construction experience with suitable references, have necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources, and possess all licenses and permits required by local law.
If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the government in the amount of KWD 205 (US ****) for each calendar day of delay.
A site visit has been scheduled for August 16, 2026, at 09:30 AM Kuwait local time. Interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend.
All sample of products/materials required for this project should be submitted for review and approval if requested in the scope of work.
Failure to follow instructions, including submitting incomplete information or failing to inspect the site, may render the offer non-compliant and ineligible for award.
