The City of Rowlett is seeking proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to provide municipal prosecutorial services for the Rowlett Municipal Court. Proposals are due by July 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The agreement will be awarded to the service provider offering the best value to the City. Key qualifications include at least five years of experience prosecuting criminal misdemeanor offenses in Texas municipal or justice courts, and demonstrated knowledge of relevant Texas laws and regulations. The service provider must attend all scheduled court sessions and be available for special sessions. Monthly itemized invoices are required, and drive time is not billable. Insurance requirements are detailed in Exhibit A.

Default in promised delivery or failure to meet specifications may authorize the purchasing office to purchase from an alternate source, and the defaulting vendor may be subject to reprocurement costs.
