Project: DPH 451 Vanderbilt First Floor Buildout in San Bernardino, California. Bids are due by July 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 09, 2026, at 10:00 AM. A Class B contractors license is required. The estimated construction cost is $7,050,000. Bids can be submitted electronically via epro or in person. Technical questions must be submitted in writing via email by June 19, 2026. Bid security of 10% of the base bid is required.
Bids are due on or before 2:00 p. m. on July 23, 2026.
Payment shall not be made more often than once each thirty 30 days, nor shall amount paid be in excess of ninetyfive percent 95 of the contract sum at time of final completion. Final payment is to be made sixty 60 days subsequent to filing of notice of completion.
The performance bond shall remain in full force and effect for a period of one 1 year following the date of filing of the notice of completion.
A responsible and responsive bidder who submitted the lowest bid shall be awarded the contract, if it is awarded.
State contractors class B license is required to bid the project. If the bidder does not list a licensed subcontractor for specific trades, the bidder must possess the state specialty license for that trade.
In the event that all the work called for in this contract is not completed within the number of calendar days set forth, contractor shall forfeit and pay to the county the sum of $1,**** per day for each calendar day the work remains incomplete.

A bid protest must be submitted to and received by the Project and Facilities Management Department before 4:00 p. m. of the fifth business day following the bid opening.
All bidders must register with the ePro system prior to the date and time to receive sealed bids or they will be disqualified. Bids submitted by firms who have not participated in the pre-bid meeting will be disqualified.
