The City of Lawton is seeking bids for emergency generator maintenance services. The contract will cover both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for various generator units located throughout the city. Bidders must adhere to specific requirements for scheduled maintenance, including filter and fluid changes, load bank tests, and battery checks, with a minimum of 48 working hours' notice for scheduled services. Unscheduled repairs require prior authorization and a guaranteed response time within 4 hours of notification. Vendors must provide detailed warranty information. Bids are due by July 1, 2026. The city will make payments after scheduled and/or unscheduled maintenance has been performed and the equipment maintenance superintendent or designated representative is satisfied that all requirements have been met.
Vendors must provide detailed information on all warranties for repair parts and for repairs made by their technicians. Extended or optional warranties should also be detailed. Vendors must provide detailed information on all warranties provided with repair parts purchased for equipment covered by this contract. The city reserves the right to award by individual item, group of items, all or none, or a combination thereof, and to reject any and all bids or waive any minor irregularity or technicality. Vendors must provide company information, including years in business, ISO **** certification status, and references. Technicians must be certified to work on the specified equipment, and training certifications must be available upon request. Failure to comply with contract conditions may result in the supplier's name being removed from the city's vendor mailing list, and the city may pursue other legal remedies. Any violation of these stipulations may result in suppliers name being removed from the city of lawton purchasing biddervendor mailing list, and the city may pursue any and all other remedies available either in equity or by law.

Objections or challenges to specifications must be made in writing to the City Clerk no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening date.
