This performance work statement (PWS) defines requirements for contractor-provided inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services for personal protective equipment (PPE) for the Marine Corps Installations West (MCIW) Fire and Emergency Services (FES) departments. The services are required semiannually for approximately 680 complete sets of PPE. The contractor must be a verified independent service provider (ISP) in accordance with NFPA 1851. The contractor is responsible for advanced cleaning, specialized cleaning, advanced inspection, database management, and repair services. The government will provide access to the work site during normal working hours (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday). A Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will be appointed to coordinate work efforts. The government will not provide utilities. The contractor is responsible for all waste disposal and removal of contamination. Data must be delivered via email or database to the COR within 30 calendar days following the end of each period of performance. The contractor must provide waste disposal receipts within 7 calendar days of disposal. Annual reports are required unless otherwise requested by the COR.
