The City of Huntsville is requesting sealed bids for sidewalk repairs. Bids must be submitted by January 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time. All pages must be initialed and returned, or the bid may be rejected. The city reserves the right to award to the most responsible and responsive bidder. The contract will expire in sixty 60 calendar days unless otherwise noted in the notice of award. The city requires the Certificate of Interested Parties Form **** are required. The city is exempt from federal excise, state sales and transportation taxes.
The bid submittals must be received by January 14, 2026, at 2:00 p. m. Central Time, according to the bid notice.
The successful bidder shall warrant that all items/services shall conform to the proposed specifications and/or all warranties as stated in the uniform commercial code and be free from all defects in material, workmanship and title.
The city of huntsville reserves the right to award to the most responsible and responsive bidder in the best interest of the city based on price and/or based on best value meeting the requirements for this service, according to the bid notice.
Before award of any contract can be approved, the city shall be satisfied that the responder involved: 1 maintains a permanent place of business, 2 has adequate plant and equipment to do the work properly and expeditiously, 3 has a suitable financial status to meet obligations incident to the work, 4 has appropriate technical experience, and 5 can submit a satisfactory performance record.
When requested, samples shall be furnished free of expense to the city of huntsville, according to the bid notice.
All questions or request for interpretation concerning the solicitation must be received by January 6, 2026 @5:00 p. m. , according to the bid notice.
