Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking bids for three (3) 17ft aluminum flat bottom center console mud boat packages. Boats and motors must be suitable for shallow water operation with light vegetation. A pre-delivery inspection at the vendor's facility is mandatory before scheduling delivery. Delivery is required to two locations in Texas. Bids are due by June 2, 2026. Award will be based on best value.
Bids are due by 2:00 PM CST on June 02, 2026. Delivery date is to be agreed upon after contract issuance.
Payment normally will be made to the contractor within 30 days after receipt of a properly prepared invoice or the receipt of and the acceptance of goods/services ordered, whichever is later.
The unit shall be warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the manufacturer's standard warranty for government use. The warranty begins on the date the unit is determined to meet specifications and accepted by TPWD.
TPWD will award a contract to the respondent whose quote is considered to be the best value to TPWD, price and other factors considered. The following factors may be used to evaluate bids: Lowest price, ability, qualifications and experience meeting or exceeding the requirement, delivery service schedule, past performance.
TPWD will only award a contract to an actively licensed marine dealer, manufacturer or manufacturer's authorized distributor. If a respondent is a manufacturer's authorized distributor, documentation of such is required to be furnished with bid submission.
Default in promised delivery days after receipt of order without accepted reasons or failure to meet specifications authorizes TPWD to purchase goods and services of this contract elsewhere and charge any increased costs for the goods and services, including the cost of resoliciting, to the contractor.

Failure to sign the bid, failure to take exception to specifications or provide reference data, brand names, numbers, etc. , may result in bid being disqualified as nonresponsive and failing to meet minimum specifications.
