Invoices must be DOT-compliant. Hazardous waste disposal must comply with EPA regulations. Secure storage for vehicles is required. Repair labor rates, parts, and towing fees are to be quoted. Priority status will be given to KCSD fleet, with diagnostics starting within 24 hours of drop-off and written estimates provided within 24 hours. Repair shop location must be within a 50-mile radius of the KCSD main bus garage. Insurance requirements include workers compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability. Criminal history background checks are required for employees who may contact students.
