Jefferson County is inviting bids for a term contract for aviation fuel for Jack Brooks Regional Airport (IFB 26-055/CG). Bids must be sealed and submitted by Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 am CT. Bids must be submitted in original and two copies. The award will be made to the most responsible, responsive bidder whose offer is determined to be the best value. Specifications can be obtained from the Jefferson County website or by calling **** are encouraged to participate, including DBEs, MWBEs, and VET HUB members.
Payment will be made under terms of net thirty 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon by seller and the purchasing department.
The successful vendor shall warrant that all materials utilized in the performance of this contract shall conform to the proposed specifications and or all warranties as stated in the uniform commercial code and be free from all defects in material, workmanship and title.
Award of contract shall be made to the most responsible, responsive bidder, whose offer is determined to be the best value, taking into consideration the relative importance of price.
To be considered for award, bidder must at least: have the ability to obtain adequate financial resources, be able to comply with required or proposed delivery completion schedule, have a satisfactory record of performance have a satisfactory record of integrity and ethics, and be otherwise qualified and eligible to receive award.
At jefferson countys request and direction, bidder shall provide product samples and or testing of items bid to ensure compliance with specifications.
Failure to return and or complete all required documentation will result in a response being declared as nonresponsive.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to the purchasing agent with the bid number and name marked on the outside of the envelope or box.
