The Town of Danville is seeking proposals for landscape maintenance services. Bidders must submit three copies of their bid proposal and bid price schedule in separately sealed envelopes. A prebid conference will be held on March 31, 2026. The contract term will be from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029, with the option to renew twice for one year each. The contractor must furnish a work schedule within 30 days after contract approval. The contractor shall schedule operations between the hours of 7:30 a. m. and by 3:30 p. m. Monday through Friday. The contractor must abide by all state and local prevailing wage requirements. The award of the contract will be to the best qualified bidder that will provide a combination of services and price in a manner most advantageous to the town.
The contractor shall furnish the town within thirty 30 days after approval of the contract, a work schedule showing the proposed dates and time of work for the location shown on the proposal.
Payment schedule will be reviewed with contractor at award of contract. Monthly invoices will be reviewed by town representative and contractor and then issued for approval by the town council for payment.
Final award of bid is at the sole discretion of the town council. The award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to the best qualified bidder that will provide a combination of services and price in a manner most advantageous to the town.
The contractor shall possess a class c27 license, applicators license and must be bay friendly ipm certifiedtrained at the time this contract is awarded or able to obtain certification within six months.
If deficiencies are not corrected, the town will deduct from the contractors payment, pro rata, those applicable portions of the monthly contract sum.
