This is a request for information and quotations for the
installation of a heated air system to feed high-temperature air into a turboshaft engine inlet at the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division. The system requires mineral insulated
cable, insulation, aluminum jacketing, and PVC covers. The bid is open for two weeks, the first week for scheduling a site visit, and the second week for providing a quote. The contractor must have the know-how and experience to install the
cable, insulation, and covers. All work must meet applicable safety, construction, and facility codes. The contractor must seal the
cable system to prevent water intrusion. A quote for all parts needed to completely protect the steam condensate system from outdoor elements with a fully functioning mineral insulated
cable system is required. This includes providing documents of part numbers, product description, quantity, lead times, price breakdowns, including FOB destination,
installation procedures, and engineering specifications. The contractor must train personnel on the system and perform a safety/quality inspection before
installation. The maximum height of the piping is 200 feet above the ground. The mineral insulated
cable must meet specific engineering requirements. Delivery is required by August 25, 2025. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission. Quotes must contain enough technical information for evaluation and reference the solicitation number. Quotes must include a published price list, historical data, authorized distributor letter, CAGE code, point of contact email, lead time, and grand total amount. Quotes are all-or-none. All interested parties must submit a brand name quote no later than 3:00 PM on August 26, 2025. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis.
