Phase 1 completion is no later than August 25, 2026. Contractor must confirm any special qualifications required for commencement of duties. Bids must be received by July 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm. The project must be substantially completed within ninety 90 consecutive calendar days after written notice to proceed.

Progress payments are made based on applications for payment, with retainage withheld. Final payment is made upon substantial completion, submission of warranties, close-out documents, and final inspection.

The contract documents, including AIA Document A201, will specify warranty requirements. The performance and payment bond shall not expire until one 1 year after the date of the certificate of final payment.

Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder.

Bidders are required to hold a current certificate of prequalification issued by the School Board of Volusia County Florida at the time of bid opening.

Liquidated damages of **** per calendar day will be assessed for delays beyond the substantial completion deadline.

A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 25, 2026, at 9:30 am at Seabreeze High School. Bidders are required to visit the construction site prior to bidding.

A bidders failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section ****, Florida Statutes, shall constitute a waiver of the right to protest.

Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, failure to hold a certificate of prequalification at bid submittal, submission of incomplete forms, or failure to comply with subcontractor disclosure requirements can lead to bid rejection.
