All areas will receive a cold- applied 2- ply modified bitumen membrane over 1/2" cover board. Replacement areas shall be removed to the existing roof deck and reconstructed with various substrate assemblies, including combinations of rigid insulation, tapered insulation, and cover board. Tapered insulation shall be provided as required for positive drainage, including crickets and saddles. Existing aluminum coping caps shall remain in designated areas, while new pre- finished metal coping caps shall be installed in others. New stainless steel expansion joint flashings shall be installed at existing locations.

Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond ( if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded This project intends to reroute a segment of gravity line and replace an existing Pump Station and Force Main serving the I- 65 Northbound Welcome Center in Simpson County, KY. The gravity portion will require directional bore under a pavement segment to maintain truck traffic. The manhole immediately upstream of the station will be replaced with a pretreatment grinder/manhole combination called a Muffin Monster. The current station has developed consistent malfunction and requires the KYTC to mobilize a pump trunk to evacuate the existing pump station wet well at an exorbitant monthly cost. It is suspect the existing force main has developed downstream issues affecting the ability of the existing system to function. The KYTC, through the KY Dept of Finance and DECA, elected to replace the station and force main. A portion of the force main traverses private property ( KY DOWNS Gaming, Horse Racing and Hotel Complex) and will require a utility easement for new routing until it ends at an existing sewer manhole owned and maintained by the City of Franklin. This manhole will be reconstructed as part of the project. Stabilize/reseed all disturbed areas affected by the scope of work.

Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond ( if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded The Ruth Mullins site will consist of the construction of 60 Liner Foot of Non- Reinforced Block Wall Type I at the side of residence along with 210 Linear Foot of 8 Subdrain to promote positive drainage behind residence and along driveway. The replacement of 20 Linear Foot of 24 HDPE pipe for drainage from sub- drain and drainage from behind the storage building. Replace in kind Concrete block steps at the back of residence. County/FEMA has reconstructed her driveway, the remaining work will consist of repairing a sinkhole in the driveway and paving and guardrail for safety. The Clyde Mullins site will consist of a 128 LF Reinforced Concrete Wall to stabilize the area behind his house. The construction of 64 LF of subdrain will drain runoff that is running behind the Ruth Mullins residence. The subdrain from the Reinforced Concrete Wall will be tied to a junction box that will collect water from the yard and carry it in a replaced 18 HDPE pipe across the drive. Additional subdrain is added to remove water from a portal behind the house above Clydes. The subdrain will be tied into the backfill from an existing AML gabion wall in front of the house.
