The US Embassy in Paris is seeking a contractor to prevent backflow deficiencies in nine buildings. The contractor must have French Qualibat qualifications or justify experience, and a minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing and backflow preventers. The contractor must submit a comprehensive safety and health protection plan (PPS), and comply with OSHA standards, French and European occupational safety and health requirements, and local building regulations. The contractor must provide detailed information about each proposed backflow preventer per location, and written proof of liability insurance. The work must be completed within 90 calendar days of contract award. The contractor is responsible for all necessary tools, materials, and personnel. The contractor must ensure the work area is kept clean and free of debris, and all waste material must be properly disposed of. The contractor must provide a written warranty for 2 years after final acceptance. The contractor must include in their bid the disruptive work to be executed exclusively on weekends and on French and American holidays. Normal working hours at the site are 9h00-12h00 and 13h00-17h00. The contractor must submit identification information to the contracting officer in order to be placed on the approved visitors roster.
