Sealed proposals for a commercial enforcement vehicle will be accepted until Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the office of the Purchasing Finance, Town of North Kingstown Municipal Offices. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the town and/or state of Rhode Island purchasing websites for any subsequent bid addendum. No addenda will be issued or posted within 48 hours of the bid submission deadline. The bid will be evaluated according to Rhode Island General Laws **** competitive sealed bidding, and the award shall be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. Sealed proposals for specialty pants and coats for the North Kingstown Fire Department will be accepted until Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the office of the Purchasing/Finance, Town of North Kingstown Municipal Offices. Bids will be evaluated according to **** competitive sealed bidding, and the award will be made based on the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. Bidders must meet or exceed bid specifications line-by-line, and include all required items with their bid. The town reserves the right to reject any bid from a contractor who is ineligible under applicable regulations or is not qualified under applicable ordinances or laws. Failure to complete the project within the agreed time schedule will result in liquidated damages of **** per day. Site visits may be scheduled by contacting Alan Austin, Director of Water Supply, during the week of May 19, 2025. Questions must be submitted to purchasing/finance by Friday, May 23, 2025, 4:30 PM. An addendum, if necessary, will be posted no later than Friday, May 30, 2025, 10:00 AM. Bid evaluation will be based on Rhode Island General Laws ****, competitive sealed bidding, and the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. Bidders must demonstrate experience, submit a list of references and completed projects, meet insurance requirements, and submit a qualification statement. Delivery must commence prior to 10am on the delivery date. If delivery is delayed beyond 10am, the town of North Kingstown can, at our discretion, refuse to accept said delivery with no penalty. Continued late arrival of delivery shall constitute grounds for contract termination. The bid price must remain firm from the date of award through June 30, 2026.
