Bid submission deadline is 2:00 PM CST on June 5, 2025. Bids must be returned to: Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Purchasing, **** Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744. The bid is for two boat packages, with specifications for each boat,
motor, and trailer. The packages must be delivered fully assembled to two different locations: Tpwd LE region 3 office and Tpwd LE region 7 office. The state reserves the right to award the contract based on low line-item bid, low total of line items, or any other combination that will serve the best interest of the state. Respondents must be actively licensed marine dealers, manufacturers, or manufacturers' authorized distributors. Documentation of authorization is required for manufacturers' authorized distributors. The bid includes detailed specifications for the boats,
motors, and trailers, including materials, dimensions, features, and warranties. Freight charges are FOB destination, freight prepaid and allowed unless otherwise stated. The state may choose to pick up the packages if the vendor is in close proximity to the delivery location to save freight charges. The vendor must contact Tpwd boating law administrator and assistant boating law administrator to schedule an inspection of assembled boats prior to delivery. The vendor must provide delivery terms with the bid response. The response period is 60 business days from the bid due date. The state will evaluate bids based on best value criteria, including lowest price, ability, qualifications, experience, delivery schedule, and past performance. Invoices must include specific information, including the contractor's name, Texas Payee Identification Number (PIN), remit-to address, contract/purchase order number, description, quantity, unit price, extended price of each item, total price, and any applicable discounts. Payment will be made within 30 days after receipt of a properly prepared invoice or the receipt of and acceptance of goods/services ordered, whichever is later. The contractor must comply with all terms and conditions contained in the solicitation and resulting contract. The contractor guarantees services offered will meet or exceed the written specifications identified in the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any and all permits or licenses required by city, county, state, or federal rules, regulations, law, or codes that pertain to the contract. All electrical items must meet applicable OSHA standards and regulations. The contractor agrees to comply with all terms and conditions contained in this solicitation and resulting contract. The contractor guarantees services offered will meet or exceed the written specifications identified in the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any and all permits or licenses required by city, county, state, or federal rules, regulations, law, or codes that pertain to the contract. All electrical items must meet applicable OSHA standards and regulations.
