The US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District NAB is seeking to determine the interest, availability, and capability of potential sources to satisfy supply and incidental service needs of the Washington Aqueduct (WA). Responses will be used to make acquisition decisions. Vendors should submit their responses by 11:59 PM ET on April 27, 2025, using the provided form. The successful bidder must have sufficient stock on hand to meet the city's requirements. The bid must be submitted on the enclosed form only. The mailing envelope must be clearly marked with the bid schedule number and opening time. A spreadsheet for evaluating quantities is attached and must be completed and submitted with the bid form. The contract period is from the date of award to March 31, 2026, and may be extended for two additional years through March 31, 2028, if mutually agreed upon. All prices, terms, and conditions must remain the same. The bid must remain open for 60 days from the opening date. The bidder must provide safety data sheets (SDS) with each order, and four copies at the time of delivery, if applicable. A current SDS shall be provided with all deliveries of hazardous materials. Approval by the electric department for any substitutions or deviations is required. The contractor shall prepare all articles and materials for shipment in such a manner as to protect them from damage in transit. The contractor shall be responsible for and repair all damaged parts or replace all losses incurred in transit to the designated delivery point. The city may, by giving ten 10 calendar days written notice to the contractor, terminate this contract prior to the designated completion date for due cause. Due cause for termination shall be, but not limited to, the best interests of the city, failure of the product to meet specifications, and/or for reasons of unsatisfactory service. The city may, upon giving thirty 30 calendar days written notice to contractor, terminate the contract with or without cause. The city reserves the right to procure the goods or services from other sources and to hold the supplier responsible for any excess costs occasioned to the city thereby. The city reserves the right to award bids received on the basis of individual items, or groups of items, or on the entire list of items unless this right is denied by the bidder in its bid. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof. The city reserves the right to waive any informality in bids and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the city. The city's decision shall be final.
