If the contractor fails to promptly perform the services again or to take the necessary action to ensure future performance in conformity with contract requirements, the government may by contract or otherwise, perform the services and charge to the contractor any cost incurred by the government that is directly related to the performance of such service or terminate the contract for default.

A highly suggested site visit is scheduled for May 21, 2026, at 10:00 CT at Garrison Creek, mile marker ****.

The contractor shall complete the work required in this statement of work within seven hundred and twenty (720) calendar days from notice to proceed (NTP), unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer. If the contractor proposes an earlier completion date, and the government accepts the contractor's proposal, the contractor's proposed completion date shall prevail.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to meet the requirements described in the construction documents. All work will be performed in accordance with the SOW, all local, state, and federal codes, the approved construction drawings and specifications, manufacturer specifications and all VA requirements.

The delivery drop-off date for the golf carts is July 6, 2026, and the return pick-up date is August 12, 2026.

The period of performance for the base period is April 28, 2026, through October 26, 2026. Option periods extend through October 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030. The bid due date is April 17, 2026.
