The notice is for dockside repairs on the USCGC Joseph Tezanos. The work includes overhauling louver assemblies, cleaning and preserving bilge surfaces, repairing the reverse osmosis unit and bilge foundation, and repairing the topside exterior structure. The place of performance is San Juan, Puerto Rico. The period of performance is from April 27, 2026 to May 25, 2026. The contractor must adhere to various specifications and standards, including SFLC Std Spec ****, ****, and 0740. The contractor must provide fire watch personnel and equipment. The contractor must submit a copy of the fire safety plan with the contractors bid when work will be conducted in a contractor-owned facility. The contractor must submit a copy of the developed availability specific fire plan as requested in the fire protection and response work item, with the contractors bid. The contractor must conform to sflc std spec **** with the following amendments and supplements: for contracts executed at a contractors facility, submit preaward the facilitys fire safety plan document described in 29 cfr **** fire safety plan. For planning assume that coast guard personnel will not be available to fight a fire. For all contracts at all facilities, submit the following information preaward, taking into consideration how the maintenance/repairs specified in the work items will affect uninterrupted operation of the subject systems make all necessary amendments to this submission after discussions with the cor at the arrival conference and during contract execution as emerging conditions warrant. The contractor must appoint in writing an environmental manager for the project, who is responsible for coordinating contractor compliance with federal, state, local, and station environmental requirements.

The contractor must refer to site e. g. , base regulations and instructions for details regardinglocal policies e. g. , crane services, parking, or facility usage. The contractor must perform all welding and allied processes, and ndein accordance with sflc std spec 0740. The contractor must prepare and coat all new and disturbed exterior andinterior surfaces to match existing adjacent surfaces, in accordance with sflc std spec ****, appendixa cutter and boat exterior painting systems and appendix b cutter and boat interior paintingsystems, respectively, and as applicable. The contractor must abide by all touchup requirements outlined in sflc std spec****.
