Project involves repairing an erosional failure on the Purisima Pond earthen berm. Bids are due by July 14, 2026, 10:00 AM. A mandatory site walk is scheduled for June 11 and June 18, 2026. Payment will be made in accordance with the payment provisions in the general conditions. District will pay contractor contract price for all of contractors direct and indirect costs to perform the work, including all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, taxes, insurance, bonds and all overhead costs, in accordance with the payment provisions in the general conditions.
Contractor must fulfill its warranty obligations under the contract. If contractor fully performs its obligations under the contract, including its warranty obligations under the contract, suretys obligations under this bond will become null and void.
The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder that submitted the lowest responsive bid. The contract will be awarded, if at all, within 60 days after opening of bids or as otherwise specified in the special conditions, to the responsible bidder that submitted the lowest responsive bid.
The contractor must possess a Class A: General Engineering Contractor license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Liquidated damages of $500 per day will be assessed for each day of unexcused delay in achieving final completion.
