This is a solicitation for interpretation and translation services for the Panamax 26 conference in Miami, Florida, from April 8-14, 2026. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Services include simultaneous interpretation from Spanish to English and the provision of interpretation equipment. The acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Quotes must be submitted electronically by March 25, 2026, and must come directly from the company providing the services, not from third-party agencies or brokers. The place of performance will be within a 7-mile radius of Doral, FL, with the exact hotel location to be finalized upon contract award. Payment will be made via government purchase card.
The period of performance for interpretation services is from April 8, 2026, to April 14, 2026, with setup on April 7, 2026. The vendor shall provide interpretation and translation services on the following approximate schedule: April 8-14, 2026, from **** to **** with a one-hour lunch break from **** local time.
All payments under this contract will be accomplished by the Mastercard Government Purchase Card. Payment will be made only after a complete invoice of all costs associated with this contract has been submitted to the paying official. Invoices must have all required information as described by the US Southern Command, 410th Contracting Officer Representative.
The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. This is a lowest price technically acceptable award.
Services shall be performed by professional and certified interpreters/translators who possess demonstrated proficiency levels that range from the ability to speak the language with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary to participate effectively and expertly and be knowledgeable and fluent in most formal and informal conversation on security, governmental, political/military, diplomatic and social professional topics to the maximum proficiency level with specific subject matter or technical level competency as specified. In addition, interpreters and translators must be trained and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint presentations.
The vendor must include equipment pictures with the proposal.
