Request for proposals for janitorial cleaning services for the Village of Indian Head Park. Services include cleaning of Public Works facility and Village Hall/Police Station. Proposals are due by June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. Bidders can schedule facility tours and contact Brian Rebelez for clarifications. Proposals require 2 physical copies and 1 electronic copy. The contract duration is two years with possible extensions. The village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. Vendor is responsible for providing cleaning supplies and equipment, except where specified. Vendor will be held financially liable for any lost keys. A checklist of cleaning activities performed must be filled out.
Proposals must be delivered before 10:00 a. m. on June 26, 2026. Proposals received after the time specified above will be returned unopened.
Proposals will be evaluated based on adequacy and completeness, comprehensiveness of services, cost, ability to provide support, vendor experience, and client references. Evaluation shall be based upon the professional judgment of the village from review of the materials provided and other relevant sources.

If the vendor fails to prosecute the work adequately, the village may terminate the contract and award it to the next lowest bidder after giving three days' written notice. If the rate at which the work is performed is, in the judgment of the village, not such as to insure its progress and completion in the time and manner herein specified. . . the village shall have full right and authority after giving three 3 days written notice to the vendor of its intention to do so, to take the work out of the hands of the vendor andor to terminate the contract with said vendor and award the contract to the next lowest bidder.
Bidders have the opportunity to tour the relevant facilities if they wish. All bidders shall have the opportunity to tour the relevant facilities should they wish.
Proposals may be rejected if they contain omissions, erasures, or irregularities. Disqualification can occur if a proposal contains false or misleading statements, or if a bidder fails to respond to a request for clarification. If, in the opinion of the village, a proposal contains false or misleading statements or references, the village reserves the right to disqualify the vendors proposal.
